Richard M. King (Rich King) graduated from Cal St Fullerton with a degree in RE Finance in 1982. Already licensed and working for a local broker in Fullerton upon graduation King began working as a branch manager for Century 21 Emery for several years where he learned the craft of managing people and training the sales staff to become a top producing office in their system. He then moved on to Century 21 Beachside and built its Chino Branch from 13 agents to over 70 and increased the sales activity and volume accordingly. In 1988 King ventured out onto his own and opened Century 21 King Realtors. In the following 20 plus years the firm grew to 5 branches with offices in Chino, Chino Hills, Corona, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga. King also opened and expanded MDR Escrow which grew into several branches as well. Century 21 King Realtors consistently placed in the top ten in national rankings for Century 21 (over 10,000 branches). The great recession of ’08-’10 forced King to consolidate and reconfigure to the changing landscape of Real Estate. With technology and the onset of on-line real estate research firms like Zillow, Redfin, and Trulia, King decided to align with a more technically oriented firm. Windermere Real Estate is located in the Seattle area – home to Microsoft and has a solid technological background. King opened Windermere King Realty Group in 2010. After 5 years King felt the independence of King Realty Group would be more flexible and able to offer the agent the localized advertising, support, and technology that they need to meet the requirements of their clients and a more sophisticated public. King has had the opportunity to work with and assist thousands of agents over 30 years in managing and owning residential real estate firms. Being the broker of record in 10’s of thousands of transactions over the years has enabled King to help his agents navigate their way through virtually any transaction. King is married to his wife Lori, his High School Sweetheart of 30 years and resides in Chino Hills where they have lived since 1988 and raised 4 boys. The Kings are active in many aspects of their community including multiple sports, schools, church and political functions. An avid golfer King epitomizes the Southern California resident by enjoying the desert, beaches and sunny climate of Southern California.
